eclipse official posterTwilight fans another sequel of twilight series has been released to the public. The Twilight Saga: Eclipse will hit theaters in 2010. The plot synopsis of the Eclipse is also released. The Plot: The vampire Victoria (James’s mate from Twilight) has created an army of “newborn” vampires to battle the Cullen family and murder Bella for revenge. Meanwhile, Bella is impelled to choose between her relationship with Edward and her friendship with Jacob. Edward’s vampire family and Jacob’s werewolf pack join forces to successfully destroy Victoria and her vampire army. In the end, Bella chooses Edward’s love over Jacob’s and agrees to marry him. The story is set primarily in the town of Forks, Washington, where Bella and her father, Charlie Swan, live. Other cities in Washington briefly appear in the series or are mentioned, such as Port Angeles, Olympia, Seattle and La Push. Some events in Twilight take place in Phoenix, Arizona, where Bella was raised. Volterra, Italy, is featured in New Moon, when Edward travels there to commit suicide and Bella rushes to save him. Jacksonville, Florida, is mentioned first in Twilight and second in Eclipse, when Edward and Bella visit Bella’s mother, who has moved there with her new husband. Twilight is a series of four vampire-based fantasy/romance novels by American author Stephenie Meyer. It charts a period in the life of Isabella “Bella” Swan, a teenage girl who moves to Forks, Washington and falls in love with a 104-year-old vampire named Edward Cullen. The series is told primarily from Bella’s point of view, with the epilogue of Eclipse and Part II of Breaking Dawn being told from the viewpoint of character Jacob Black, a werewolf. The unpublished Midnight Sun is a retelling of the first book, Twilight, from Edward Cullen’s point of view. “Twilight Saga: Eclipse” hits theaters on June 30, 2010, and “Twilight Saga: New Moon” comes out on November 20, 2009. Eclipse is one of my favs in the series and has some remarkable movie making possibilities. There is so much happening in this book and looking forward seeing it ALL… I would hate to see it less than spectacular.

Please someone get a note over to David Slade to correct the hideous makeup job on the Cullens in New Moon. In New Moon (which was magnificant grant you) all of the Cullens look frightening and ghoulish (not beautiful as the book describes them).

The reason that they are supposed to fit in among humans is because they believably look like “very beautiful” humans with “pale” skin and golden eyes. Not so in New Moon. Their makeup was way too white, eyes too noticably red-gold to believe that anyone wouldn’t run if they saw them. Most striking was Rosalie who is supposed to be the most unbelievably beautiful, who during the “family vote” scene, looked scary.

Please Spade, put them back to what they looked like in Twilight or improve on what they look like in New Moon. It was distracting to watch. And for heavens sake, get someone to fix Alice’s wig. It was old lady hideous for no reason. The girl is drop dead gorgeous. FIX THIS PLEASE.

    Thanks. Cant wait for Eclipse.
